Advanced Facial Plastic: My Dermaplane & Oxygen Facial Experience

I’m so excited to announce that I’m partnering with Advanced Facial Plastic in Dallas! Last week, I went in for a skin consultation and told them to give me whatever facial they thought my skin needed…and y’all it was the best thing EVER! Before I was treated, I took an antibody test that detected if I was exposed to COVID-19 at all and in the last week to ensure safety for everyone in the office. Of course, everyone was wearing masks and I felt super safe while in the office!

Once I received my results, I was good to go and could start my treatments! My main skin concerns are under eye darkness and tiny blemishes from wearing makeup / stress. I wear a full face pretty much every day and rarely let my skin breathe so this was exactly what the doctor ordered. Jeanette, a licensed medical aesthetician, examined my skin, made product recommendations and said that I would really benefit from dermaplaning & their Intraceuticals Infusion Oxygen Facial for an extra boost of hydration.

Dermaplaning is when a scalpel is used to remove the top layer of skin cells to have a brighter and smoother complexion. It helps get rid of dead skin, peach fuzz, and anything else on the top of your skin. One of the perks of dermaplaning is that it makes makeup application look so much better and it helps your skin care products absorb even more than normal. It’s a win win that leaves your skin GLOWING! My goal is to dermaplane about once a month since my skin is on the drier side.

The Intraceuticals Infusion Oxygen Facial is super rejuvenating and I left glowing with no down time! Jeanette customized a cocktail of serums that my skin needed (including a bunch of vitamins!). It was very relaxing and felt like cool air on my face as she infused my skin with the nutrients it needed. I left feeling very refreshed and could put makeup on right after the facial if I needed to! I would absolutely get this again and would recommend it to everyone since it’s good for every skin type.
